Visionary Webworks recently completed the design and production of a new web site for Frankfort Square Park District! To check it out click here!
The new Frankfort Square web site features,
- an animated home page mascot, P.D. the truck
- a dynamic community calendar of events
- a "Did You Know" section that changes daily
- comprehensive park district information
- an easy to use drop-down menu system
- detailed parks & facilities pages
The staff at the Frankfort Square Park District played a major role in the success of their web site. Thanks to Audrey Marcquenski for helping bring the whole project together. And to Jim Randall for his assistance and guidance. Thanks to staff for all of their help in bringing this project to fruition.

Plainfield Park District

Earlier this year Visionary Webworks completed design and production of a new web site for Plainfield Park District! To see this new web site click here!
The Plainfield web site features,
- a fresh new design with seasonal changes to match each brochure
- staff and resident images used as design elements
- dynamic community calendar of events
- detailed information about the park district's programs and facilities
- easy to use drop-down menu system
- site design that allows complete day-to-day maintenance by park district staff
We would like to thank Marianne Naughton who was a major contributor to this project and who now maintains the new web site. Rich Zielke was also key in getting the new web site from concept to launch.
We would also like to thank the many "models" who posed for all of the pictures you see in the top left of the web pages. Although they could easily pass for professional models, in fact they are the friends and families of park district employees and residents!
Virtual Tours
promote your facilities online

Looking for ways to increase facility usage? Do you regularly get questions on the phone about your facilities? Looking for a great way to document a recent event? You need an online virtual tour!
With a virtual tour you can give your community the opportunity to view your facilities right on your web site. Once they see your facilities online they'll be more excited about coming in to use them in person!
If you have a limited budget, a nicely prepared photo slide show can serve as a virtual tour. A more full-featured virtual tour can include full-motion video that has been edited and compressed for display on your web site.
When you’re thinking about adding a virtual tour, think of who your intended audience is. If it is your residents you may have one message while a tour targeted at area corporations might need to be set up differently. In any case, a virtual tour can do wonders to help you promote your facilities. Try it; you’ll like it!
To see an example of a nice virtual tour featuring tours of 10 separate facilities go to www.BartlettParks.org and choose Virtual Tours from the General Info dropdown menu.
